Who Were Looking For

This role will be part of our CREzoning team providing zoning research, analysis, and compliance review reports for a variety of clients that include Law firms, Real Estate Investment Trusts and/or legal counsel, and Lenders.

The individual in this position is responsible for submitting open record and data requests by email and telephone and following up on all requests to ensure full data and records have been acquired in a timely manner to allow for the completion of project work. In this role you will have the opportunity to work closely with a team Zoning Research Specialists and Zoning Analysts to provide documents supporting the creation of reports as part of the commercial real estate due diligence process. You will further serve as a key liaison between clients and local municipalities in obtaining necessary report documents.

How Youll Make an Impact

Data Acquisition: Order, collect, and organize land use related documents from Municipalities nationwide.

Quality Assurance:

Examine documents for completeness, sufficiency, and conformity to requested documents and data.

Own follow up and internal communication to ensure all necessary documents have been obtained to ensure timely report delivery to the Zoning Analyst.

Client Communication: Act as a liaison between clients and local municipalities on zoning and land use issues.


Identify and resolve problems and questions in a timely manner offering solutions and/or re-directing to team members as appropriate.

Simultaneously operate a variety of computer software and programs.


Deal discreetly with and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive records and information obtained through document research and directly through clients.

Maintain and manage confidentiality of records, files, and related documents.


1-2 years experience in service-oriented environment requiring direct customer interaction

1-2 years experience with data acquisition and/or data entry in a role requiring great attention to detail and follow through

Strong organizational skills

A great work ethic (self-starter) i.e., not afraid to jump in, learn the business and make an impact

The ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members both verbally and in writing

The ability to prioritize and balance multiple objectives of differing priorities

The ability to adapt to updates in technology and process

Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite software, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
